Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate infrastructure across on-prem data centers and GCP environments. You will lead the automation of deployments, mentor engineers, and own systems that scale our global operations.

You will work with Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet to migrate legacy tooling to modern Infrastructure as Code, while ensuring robust traffic management, monitoring, and secure IAM-enabled cloud access.

Qualifications

Strong Linux systems administration experience at scale.
Deep knowledge of core networking, DNS, and load balancing.
Automation of infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
Proficiency in Python or similar for tooling and automation.
Production experience with GCP (Compute Engine, networking, IAM).
Experience leading infrastructure projects and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

Design and operate large-scale multi data center infrastructure across on-prem, GCP, and AWS.
Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration management; migrate to modern IaC tooling.
Design and maintain traffic management, load balancing, and DNS systems at scale.
Build and operate monitoring/observability across on-prem and cloud environments.
Develop tooling for distributed, auditable systems administration.
Document processes, policies, and procedures for the infrastructure.
