Globant in Colombia is seeking an exceptionally talented and experienced Senior Tech UI Designer to join our team of passionate creators. This role focuses on implementing visually captivating user interfaces for our games, shaping players' experiences across platforms.

You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, game designers, and developers to design UI systems, break down features into widgets, and ensure pixel-perfect results while managing memory and performance budgets.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience building UI in game engines across platforms (mobile, web, PC, consoles).
• 2+ years shipping updates to a user base on a regular cadence.
• Proficient with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and game engine experience (Unity, UE4, Lumberyard, Snowdrop, etc.).
• Eye for pixel-perfect UI and ability to translate designs into the engine.
• Strong written and communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: UI work on 2+ AAA game titles, C++, scripting, materials/shaders in UE.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, game designers, and developers to create visually engaging, functional interfaces for our games.
• Design UI systems, break down features into widgets, increase UI performance.
• Ensure assets stay within memory and CPU constraints; profile performance.
• Implement blueprint logic when needed; assist UI artists; discuss Blueprint vs Native Code.
• Debug blueprints/UMG issues using various tools.
• Support UX/UI art and engineering with organization, documentation, and workflow improvements.
