Truelogic is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team building scalable, data-intensive systems. You will own features end-to-end—from PostgreSQL schema design and backend services to React/Next.js interfaces and production observability.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, and event-driven architectures, along with a focus on reliability, data integrity, and resilient design in a remote setting.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional Full-Stack Engineering experience building and shipping production applications end-to-end.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Advanced experience with React and Next.js.
• Deep PostgreSQL/database engineering experience.
• Proven experience designing and operating event-driven and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of reliability patterns.
• Hands-on experience building webhook-driven integrations and async workflows.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Own features end-to-end, including database schema design, backend APIs, frontend development, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Design and build event-driven and distributed systems that remain reliable during failures and retries.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL solutions with complex queries, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Build integrations with third-party systems using webhooks, queues, retries, and idempotency.
• Implement reliability patterns such as idempotency keys and DLQs.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team building scalable, reliable, and data-intensive systems.

This is a hands-on role for an engineer who thinks beyond individual features and understands systems, data integrity, distributed architectures, and reliability. You will own features end-to-end—from PostgreSQL schema design and backend services to React/Next.js interfaces and production observability.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, and event-driven systems, along with a proven ability to design reliable workflows around asynchronous processing, webhooks, third-party integrations, and high-stakes transactional data.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end, including database schema design, backend APIs, frontend development, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Design and build event-driven and distributed systems that remain reliable in the face of failures, retries, duplicate events, and asynchronous processing.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL solutions, including complex SQL queries, migrations, indexes, transactions, and query performance using tools such as EXPLAIN ANALYZE.
• Build reliable integrations with third-party systems using webhooks, queues, retries, idempotency, and reconciliation processes.
• Implement reliability patterns such as idempotency keys, dead-letter queues (DLQs), transactional outbox patterns, and reconciliation loops.
• Build polished, responsive user experiences using React and Next.js.
• Identify architectural and performance bottlenecks and proactively improve scalability, reliability, and data consistency.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar agentic coding tools for complex development, debugging, testing, and architectural tasks.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical decisions, internal tooling, and engineering standards.
• Mentor other engineers and promote best practices for handling sensitive and transactional data.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Full-Stack Engineering experience building and shipping production applications end-to-end.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Advanced experience with React and Next.js.
• Deep PostgreSQL/database engineering experience.
• Proven experience designing and operating event-driven and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of reliability patterns
• Hands-on experience building webhook-driven integrations and working with asynchronous workflows.
• Experience working with financial or high-stakes transactional systems, such as fintech, payments, billing, payroll, or ledgering.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or equivalent agentic coding platforms for meaningful engineering tasks.
• Strong systems-thinking mindset with a focus on data integrity, edge cases, failure scenarios, and operational reliability.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or Pulumi.
• observability and distributed tracing, including Datadog or OpenTelemetry.
• regulated or compliance-heavy environments, such as SOC 2 or PCI-DSS.
• property-based testing, such as fast-check, for complex business logic.
• Experience optimizing systems for high transaction volumes and large-scale workloads.
• Previous experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives.
