AgileEngine in Cartagena, Colombia seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build web apps connecting backend data to front-end interfaces and automate business workflows. You will be the first core software engineer on the team, shaping architecture, standards, and mentoring peers.

Expect 5+ years in Java or Python, React with TypeScript, backend API development, and experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB and AWS.

Qualifications

• Senior-level hands-on software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of programming in Java or Python.
• 5+ years of API development in data-driven environments.
• 5+ years with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
• 4+ years building production frontend apps with React/TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of REST or GraphQL, RPC, and JSON.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build full-stack solutions spanning backend APIs and frontend apps.
• Develop custom web applications providing an operational front-end to review and execute complex logic.
• Merge modern data stack with APIs, microservices, and workflow engines.
• Build automated workflows that sync cross-platform systems.
