Newfire Global Partners in Colombia is seeking a Senior FullStack Engineer with strong Go and Angular skills to build a next‑generation clinical technology platform. This role focuses on scalable backend services in Go, frontend in Angular, and cross‑functional collaboration across microservices and data stores.

You will design and implement RESTful APIs, ensure high performance, and contribute to code quality with automated tests while supporting Agile workflows.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing & developing front and backend web applications.
• 3+ years of experience with Golang.
• Knowledge of gorilla/mux, chi or similar Go routers.
• Understanding of concurrency and go-routines.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with Angular 2+ and TypeScript.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and testing.
• Experience with Agile teams.
• Experience with Git.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with team on frontend and backend development for given applications.
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable GoLang and Angular code.
• Proactively design & implement innovative applications using GoLang & Angular.
• Design Web APIs using REST.
• Identify and solve bottlenecks and bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Drive quality and deliver high-quality code with automated tests (unit/integration).
• Support Scrum/Agile software development practices.
• As a Senior team member, participate in hiring processes by serving on interview panels.

Your day‑to‑day activities:

• Work with team on new ideas, best practices, and strategies on the front end and backend development for given applications
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript and GoLang code
• Proactively designing & implementing innovative applications using GoLang & Angular
• Designing Web API using REST
• Identify and solve bottlenecks and bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Drive quality and deliver high‑quality code, with various levels of automated tests (unit, integration, performance, and security)
• Support with Scrum / Agile software development approach (e.g., sprints, standups, retros, planning, pointing, grooming, etc.)
• As a Senior team member, you will be expected to actively participate in our hiring processes by serving on interview panels for future roles across the company.

You’re a perfect match if you have:

• 6+ years of solid hands‑on experience in designing & developing front and backend applications for web‑based applications.
• 3+ years of experience working with Golang.
• Knowledge Go routers libraries as Gorilla Mux, Chi or similar
• Good understanding of concurrency principles, go‑routines
• Understanding and experience working with microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of system design and data structures and experience with relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
• Experience with the latest UI development frameworks and technologies in the industry, especially Angular 2+
• Experience with utilizing the latest JS features with TypeScript
• Experience with creating and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with unit/integration testing
• Experience in working with Agile Teams
• Experience with code management systems like Git

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka
• Experience working with AWS
