EPAM Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to design and optimize web interfaces, develop backend components, and ensure scalable, reliable systems. You'll collaborate with data engineers and product teams to deliver integrated solutions across frontend and backend layers.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, strong CS fundamentals, and proficiency in React and Python, with experience in FastAPI/Flask/Django and databases. Global projects and growth opportunities await.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, and Python; backend frameworks (FastAPI/Flask/Django).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Cloud and containerization knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP; Docker/Kubernetes).
• NoSQL experience (MongoDB/Redis) is a plus.
• English at B2 level or higher; good communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and optimize responsive web interfaces using modern UI/UX tech.
• Develop and maintain server-side components for applications.
• Monitor, optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.
• Leverage AI coding agents to support development workflows.
• Design and optimize database structures and queries for efficiency.
• Perform testing and debugging to resolve issues and bottlenecks.
• Stay updated with industry trends and propose architectural improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy and maintain production apps.
