NewtonX is expanding its Medellín engineering hub and seeking a senior frontend engineer. You will design and implement fast, modular UI components and data-rich interfaces on top of our APIs for a research platform. You’ll join a small, ambitious team and collaborate with US leadership across time zones.

The role requires strong React/TypeScript skills, REST API experience, and excellent English. A Bachelor's degree is required, and you’ll work in a full-time, on-site Medellín environment with

Formación

• Minimum 5 years as a software engineer with strong React experience.
• Hands-on experience building web apps that consume REST APIs.
• Experience with client-side state management (Redux/React Query).
• Strong HTML, CSS and responsive UI across browsers.
• Excellent English proficiency, written and spoken; degree required.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build modular, reusable UI components and applications.
• Develop performant, data-heavy web interfaces consuming REST APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and CI/CD improvements.
• Collaborate with Product and US leadership across time zones.
