ScotiaTech in Bogota, Colombia is seeking a Finance Analyst to lead monthly reporting, forecasting, and annual planning for the CIO area. You will support end-to-end close processes, produce management reports, and provide insightful commentary to senior management.

Requirements include 3–5 years post-university experience, an accounting designation, and proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems. Strong communication and adaptability are essential in a dynamic tech environment.

Formación

• 3-5 years post-university work experience.
• Accounting designation (CPA/CMA/CGA/ACCA) held or in progress.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of bank accounting systems is an asset.
• Experience in developing/compiling management reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work in a team and independently.
• B2 English level.

Responsabilidades

• Support month end close activities end to end.
• Support monthly review of actual results using Access (MARS) and PeopleSoft to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and report monthly financial variances with commentary.
• Assist tailored monthly financial reports for Senior Management (CIO & VPs).
• Assist quarterly close reporting and provide commentaries to partners.
• Assist monthly accrual, reclass, charge backs, and other entries.
• Prepare various financial and accounting reports as needed.
• Assist monthly forecasting and annual planning for CIO with business partners.
