Salvatech is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to consolidate and analyze financial information from two JV partners, ensuring timely, clear reporting to partners and finance leadership. The role emphasizes ownership in gathering data from both accounting teams and producing consolidated reports in Spanish and English.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, knowledge of Colombian IFRS and tax considerations, and strong Excel skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of financial analysis or supervision experience in Colombia.
• Experience coordinating across accounting teams and external groups.
• Experience with project-based accounting and cost tracking.
• Strong English and Spanish written and spoken skills.

Responsabilidades

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to act as the financial leadership point of contact for two active contracts awarded to a joint venture (JV). Each partner company in the JV already has its own accountant and accounting support. This role is not operational or data-entry focused: its main purpose is to request, consolidate, and analyze the financial information provided by the accounting teams of both companies, in order to report it clearly and on time to the JV partners and finance leadership. This role carries a strong ownership and coordination component: the person must be able to lead the process of gathering information from both accounting teams, hold them accountable for quality and timeliness, and translate that information into consolidated financial reports in both Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Financial Consolidation & Oversight

• Request and consolidate accounting and financial information provided by the accountants of the two JV partner companies.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and project cost allocation against contractual terms.
• Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for JV partners.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready financial documentation.

Tax Compliance

• Serve as liaison between the partners' accounting teams and JV leadership on Colombian tax compliance matters (income tax, VAT, withholding tax, ICA, among others).
• Monitor relevant regulatory changes and alert leadership on implications for the projects.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors as needed.

JV Financial Administration

• Manage and report revenue and cost allocation per JV agreements.
• Prepare reports for partners in both Spanish and English.
• Participate in virtual meetings with international stakeholders.
• Support cash flow projections and funding coordination between partners.
• Support internal and external audits.

Coordination & Internal Controls

• Lead the financial reporting process without direct reports holding both partners' accounting teams accountable for timely, quality output.
• Implement and maintain appropriate internal controls for remote operations.
• Maintain organized digital filing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).
• Specialization or training with a finance focus (preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, financial supervision, or related roles in Colombia.
• Experience coordinating or consolidating information across different accounting teams or external groups.
• Experience with project-based accounting and cost tracking.
• Experience supporting joint ventures, temporary unions (UTs), or international organizations (desirable).
• Solid understanding of Colombian IFRS and general knowledge of tax legislation (no direct filing execution required).
• Experience with accounting/ERP software; experience with Multifox ERP is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Advanced English level (spoken and written).
