Coforge is seeking a Senior Engineer – Elasticsearch & Node.js to design and implement scalable backend services in a remote LATAM setting. The role emphasizes Elasticsearch expertise, Node.js development, REST API design, and containerized environments with Docker.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize observability and telemetry, and contribute to cloud deployments in AWS while leveraging GenAI development tools to boost productivity and code quality.

Formación

• 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced Elasticsearch expertise: Query DSL, aggregations, ILM, performance tuning.
• Strong Node.js development in enterprise or cloud environments.
• Experience designing robust REST APIs.
• Containerized environments with Docker.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Observability and telemetry with Datadog and Elasticsearch APM.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud deployments (AWS).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, GenAI).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Build and optimize Elasticsearch solutions, including indexing and search tuning.
• Develop robust REST APIs for enterprise-grade applications and integrations.
• Manage containerized environments with Docker and related tooling.
• Support SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Monitor health and telemetry with Datadog, Elasticsearch APM, and observability tools.
• Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical solutions and reviews.
• Engage in architecture discussions and code reviews; promote best practices.
• Leverage GenAI workflows and GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and code quality.
• Contribute to cloud deployments and AWS-based integrations and docs.
