The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in document control for large-scale construction projects, particularly in mining. Formación

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Document Controller with proven experience supporting mining construction projects, ensuring compliance-driven documentation is meticulously organized and delivered during project closeout.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of a robust document control system tailored to data center environments, enabling tracking, versioning, and approval workflows across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Coordinate and compile all compliance-required documentation for successful project closeout in high-demand, highly regulated infrastructure settings.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the documentation needs across all project lifecycle stages, from pre-construction to commissioning and handover.
  • Develop and manage project-specific documentation folders and structured correspondence archives aligned with client and regulatory expectations.
  • Prepare and continuously improve Document Control Guidelines in alignment with company standards and industry best practices for mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Operate, maintain, and periodically enhance Document Control Procedures in accordance with the company’s Document Management System, optimizing for scale and regulatory precision.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in document control for large-scale, multi-disciplinary construction projects, ideally in mining projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMI, PMP) is highly valued.
  • Strong familiarity with compliance frameworks, data governance, and documentation mapping processes within technology infrastructure builds.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate detailed reports (daily, weekly, monthly) tailored to construction and commissioning milestones.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and document collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Aconex, or similar).
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to navigate regional compliance requirements and global stakeholder expectations.
