Job summary

Prometeo Talent is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own scalable, secure infra across multi-cloud environments (AWS & GCP). This role emphasizes infrastructure as code, reliability as a feature, and automation as standard practice.

You will design, deploy, and optimize platforms with a focus on security, observability, and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include managing Kubernetes clusters, building Terraform-based IaC, and driving CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring SOC 2 / ISO 27001

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related DevOps experience.
• Cloud: AWS (Expert), GCP (Proficient), multi-cloud.
• Kubernetes: EKS, GKE, Helm, ArgoCD/Flux, Service Mesh.
• IaC: Terraform (Expert), Ansible, Pulumi/CDK.
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins – full pipeline ownership.
• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, OpenTelemetry.
• Security: IAM, KMS, SOC2/ISO, Container Scanning, RBAC.
• Scripting: Bash, Python.
• AI Skills: AI-augmented IaC & automation.
• Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. You’ll play a key role in designing systems that are reliable by default, automated end‑to‑end, and trusted by engineering teams.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who treats infrastructure as code, reliability as a feature, and automation as standard practice.

What You’ll Do

1. Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture: Design and maintain scalable, highly available multi‑cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP.

2. Kubernetes & Platform Engineering: Manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficient deployments.

3. Infrastructure as Code: Build and maintain reusable IaC solutions, primarily with Terraform, to manage infrastructure at scale.

4. CI/CD & Automation: Develop CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operations.

5. Observability & Reliability: Implement monitoring solutions, define reliability metrics, manage incidents, and optimize infrastructure capacity.

6. Security & Compliance: Apply security best practices, integrate security testing, and support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance.

7. Cost & Operational Excellence: Optimize cloud costs, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate across engineering, product, and security teams.

8. AI & Efficiency: Leverage AI tools to improve automation and documentation, ensuring outputs are accurate and secure.
