Endava in Bogotá is hiring a DevOps/SRE professional to oversee the lifecycle of applications, optimize deployment pipelines, and improve developer tooling. You will work across AWS/GCP, implement IaC, and apply AI-powered automation to operational tasks.

The role emphasizes a developer-first mindset, on-call readiness, and collaboration with global teams to deliver reliable platforms and intelligent experiences.

Formación

• 4 years in DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering.
• Experience in Go (Golang) or Python and contributing to internal tools (CLI/API).
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes; understand cluster traffic and pod debugging.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and DevOps best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Tiered troubleshooting: primary contact for infra, deployment, and access issues via Jira/Slack.
• Automated infrastructure: manage and scale multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP) with IaC Terraform.
• DevEx: maintain and improve CLI tools and internal APIs to simplify workflows.

Job Description

Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.

Responsibilities

• Tiered Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for developers on infrastructure, deployment, and access issues. You will manage incoming requests via Jira and Slack with a focus on high responsiveness and clarity.
• Automated Infrastructure: Assist in managing and scaling multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Developer Experience (DevEx): Maintain and improve CLI tools and internal APIs that simplify complex workflows for our application teams.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build and optimize deployment pipelines in GitHub Actions, and modern GitOps (ArgoCD) patterns.
• Observability & Reliability: Monitor system health and performance, implementing automated "self-healing" triggers to reduce manual intervention. This includes participating in an on-call rotation.
• AI Integration: Experiment with and implement LLM-based or agentic workflows to automate routine troubleshooting and documentation tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4 years in DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering. We value a "Developer-First" mindset—you should be comfortable understanding ambiguous requirements and writing code to solve it.
• Coding Proficiency: Experience in Go (Golang) or Python. You should be able to contribute to internal tools (CLI, API, HTMX)
• Cloud & Containers: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. You understand how traffic flows through a cluster and how to debug a failing pod.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform or similar tools.
• Modern CI/CD: Experience with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD. Bonus Points (The "Standouts"):
• Data Ops: Exposure to managing infrastructure for Snowflake or Databricks.
• AI/LLM Curiosity: Experience using AI coding assistants (Claude) or building simple LLM-powered automations to streamline DevOps tasks.
• Security Mindset: Familiarity with OPA (Open Policy Agent) or Hashicorp Vault for managing secrets and guardrails.
• Build Systems: Familiarity with Bazel or high-performance monorepo management
