Yuno is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to own the data layer powering our payment processing and AI agent platforms on AWS. You will join the infrastructure team responsible for reliability, performance, and security of production systems, working alongside engineering and DevOps.

You'll lead database architecture decisions for performance, scalability, high availability, and data layer evolution as the platform grows, mentoring engineers and shaping roadmap.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years hands-on experience as a Database Administrator in production environments.
• Deep PostgreSQL expertise—performance tuning, replication, and query optimization at scale.
• AWS – strong experience with RDS, EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3; networking fundamentals for DB connectivity.
• CDC integrations.
• Database security, encryption, auditing, and compliance for sensitive data.
• Terraform experience for IaC; PR-reviewed infrastructure.
• Python proficiency for automation and scripting.
• Backup/recovery planning for critical systems.
• Distributed systems debugging for data-related issues.
• English – advanced proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Database administration and optimization across the fleet.
• Design backup/recovery and disaster recovery strategies.
• Automate provisioning and maintenance with Terraform.
• Plan and execute data migrations with minimal downtime.
• Build dashboards and monitors for database health and performance.
• Provide technical leadership on deployment and architecture.
