Qualifications

• Degree in CS/Data Eng/Software Eng or STEM with advanced study.
• (or Bachelor's + Master's) in STEM.
• FIVE+ years of software/data engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with distributed processing and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, data catalogs, metadata, lineage, data quality, and access controls.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Data Lake, Apache Spark, or equivalents.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, environment separation, and production deployment.
• Experience building secure APIs and enterprise tools; awareness of RBAC and least-privilege security.

Responsibilities

• - Architect secure, scalable data platform and governance automation.
• - Build automated controls for metadata ownership lineage data quality and access.
• - Develop secure APIs and MCP tools for enterprise/AI apps.
• - Design reusable configuration-driven patterns for governed data services.
• - Implement identity authz least-privilege access and credential management.
• - Build automated validation, testing deployment and monitoring across environments.
• - Collaborate with governance teams domain experts and engineers on controls.
• - Establish observability for platform health data quality and policy results.
