AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to advance our modern Snowflake data stack, building robust Airflow and dbt pipelines with zero-downtime for BI tools and analytics.

You will implement bronze/silver/gold layers, automate tests, migrate scheduled Paradime tasks to Airflow DAGs, and collaborate with the Lead Data Engineer on architecture and cost optimization across the stack. This role offers remote-friendly work and exposure to Fortune 500 brands.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow / Astronomer in production.
• dbt Core expertise: macros, packages, and CI/CD patterns.
• Advanced Git & Data CI/CD practices.
• Production Data Engineering with clean Python/SQL.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Support bronze/silver/gold layering across Snowflake with architecture input.
• Build automated testing and failure alerting across Paradime ETL and Airflow orchestration.
• Migrate select Paradime jobs into orchestrated Airflow DAGs.
• Ensure governance and access controls for PII data in pipelines.
• Translate dbt transforms into scalable Airflow tasks using modern Python patterns.
• Maintain integration points between Paradime and Airflow as platforms evolve.
• Audit dbt code and paths to identify bottlenecks and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with Lead Data Engineer to support future AI semantic layers.
