Addi is seeking a senior Data Engineer in Colombia to own and evolve the core data ingestion and transformation platform. You will enable real-time, governed data flows for Risk, Lending, and Finance, reducing friction and ensuring data integrity across systems.

You will design and operate end-to-end pipelines, standardize ingestion, build dashboards, enforce governance, and improve engineering standards with CI/CD and testing. Join a high-growth fintech shaping Colombia's financial ecosystem.

Formación

• 4+ years in data engineering with production pipelines in fintech or high-growth startups.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, Math, or related field.
• Ability to design pragmatic systems and document ADRs.
• Ownership from concept to live monitoring and iteration.
• Hands-on with Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake for batch/streaming.
• Experience with Airflow for scheduling and SLAs.
• Knowledge of Medallion Bronze/Silver/Gold; CDC and merges.
• Strong coding, testing, CI/CD, and Git workflow discipline.
• Data quality checks, contracts, and anomaly detection.
• Observability, dashboards, alerts, and runbooks to reduce MTTR.
• Fine-grained access control and data governance without slowing speed.
• Ability to translate infra decisions to business impact for Risk/Finance.

• Own core data pipelines end-to-end from design to monitoring.
• Standardize ingestion with unified CDC patterns and schema evolution.
• Build self-serve observability dashboards and runbooks.
• Enforce data governance, RBAC, and data classification.
• Boost developer productivity with templates and CI/CD checks.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Finance, Operations.
• Continuously optimize pipelines and adopt best practices.
