Perficient is hiring a Data Engineer in Colombia to design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines across ingestion, transformation, and analytics layers. You will develop workflows using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics, implementing ELT pipelines and lakehouse architectures with Delta tables for scalable analytics.

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines and ELT frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing.
• Experience with Spark / PySpark or distributed data processing is a plus.
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures (lakehouse, data platform design).
• Experience with data modeling and semantic layers.
• Familiarity with the Azure ecosystem (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake) is highly preferred.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
