AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the replacement of a third-party digital ingestion tool with a custom-built ETL pipeline within our AWS environment. You will document existing logic, evaluate build-vs-buy options (e.g., Fivetran), and construct a standalone pipeline to support dashboards.

Strong SQL and DSP data experience are central, along with working knowledge of AWS data services.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of SQL and large-scale data ingestion experience.
• Direct or adjacent experience with digital advertising / DSP data.
• Working knowledge of AWS data services to build within a cloud environment.
• Ability to contribute to backend work beyond ETL to support broader platform needs.
• Familiarity with or ability to evaluate ELT tools like Fivetran vs custom builds.
• Ability to align ingestion output with downstream dashboards and scoring logic.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Aufgaben

• Document current ingestion logic inside the legacy tool (TapClicks).
• Build the ETL pipeline to replace the legacy system against Amazon API and DSP data sources.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy options and select appropriate solutions.
• Design a standalone pipeline to power client-facing dashboards.
• Provide AWS-based backend support as needed within the environment.
• Coordinate with data science teams to align data with attribution models.
• Operate within AWS (ECS, S3, RDS) infrastructure.
