CI&T in Colombia seeks a Senior Data & Analytics Specialist to lead BI initiatives, model data, and craft Power BI dashboards that drive strategic insights. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specs and KPIs, delivering robust analytics solutions.

The role emphasizes advanced Power BI, DAX scripting, and collaboration across data, applications, and infrastructure teams, with strong English communication required.

Formación

• Experience with Azure environment.
• Power BI Report Builder and open-source tools like DAX Studio.
• Teamwork with stakeholders from various areas: data, applications, infrastructure, and business.
• Proven experience in designing report layouts in Power BI.
• Advanced/Fluent English for communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the identification and analysis of business requirements within the BI context to develop strategic insights.
• Formulate data models that transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Utilize Power BI features to create dynamic dashboards and interactive visual reports.
• Define and implement KPIs with objectives and regular tracking.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and set realistic project timetables.
• Develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform deep data analysis.
• Run DAX queries to extract insights.
• Create charts and data documentation explaining models and relationships.
• Make adjustments to BI systems to improve performance.
• Analyze ETL procedures and design new data processing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the identification and analysis of business requirements within the BI context to develop strategic insights.
• Formulate data models that effectively transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Utilize advanced features of Power BI to create dynamic dashboards and interactive visual reports.
• Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) with specific objectives, ensuring their regular tracking and analysis.
• Translate business needs into comprehensive technical specifications and establish realistic timetables for project completion.
• Develop, test, and deploy complex Power BI scripts, conducting efficient deep analysis to enhance data interpretation.
• Proficiently run DAX queries and functions within Power BI to extract meaningful insights.
• Create clear and comprehensive charts and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships.
• Make technological adjustments to existing BI systems to improve overall performance.
• Utilize advanced filtering and visualization techniques in Power BI to enhance data understanding.
• Analyze current ETL procedures and design and implement new systems to streamline data processing.

Requirements for this challenge:

• Experience with Azure environment
• Power BI Report Builder, and open-source tools like DAX Studio
• Teamwork with stakeholders from various areas: data, applications, infrastructure, and business.
• Proven experience in working with such stakeholders to design Report layouts in Power BI
• Advanced/Fluent English for communication.
