Job summary

Coforge is hiring a Senior Data & AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered apps and backend services using Python, TypeScript, and AWS. You’ll create scalable data pipelines with Databricks, DBT, and Spark while defining data architectures and governance across AI platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade systems.
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
• Experience building cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and modern data engineering practices.
• Experience designing APIs, backend services, workflows, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience developing AI or LLM-powered products in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, governance, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience with DBT transformation pipelines, testing, and data validation.
• Knowledge of scalable data architectures such as Medallion Architecture, Data Vault 2.0, and dimensional modeling.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.

• Experience implementing monitoring, observability, and governance solutions for AI and data platforms.
• Familiarity with internal developer platforms, low-code solutions, or productivity tooling.
