ICON is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Coordinator to lead data management tasks across Colombia (Remote) and Mexico (Hybrid). The role emphasizes data quality, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with clinical operations and biostatistics to support study success.

The ideal candidate brings 3.5+ years of data management experience, strong English and local language skills, and familiarity with major CDMS tools. The position offers a competitive benefits package within each country.

Formación

• 3.5+ years of clinical data management experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical company.
• Intermediate knowledge of the drug development process.
• Knowledge of at least 1 Clinical Data Management System (Medidata RAVE, InForm, Veeva, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of computerized information systems and standard application software (Windows, MS Office)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent
• Fluent English and host country language

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain detailed data management plans and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues, improving data quality throughout the study lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical operations and biostatistics) to develop data management strategies.
• Perform tasks to meet study timelines (filing/archiving study documentation, dispatching queries to sites).
• Mentor junior data coordinators on data reconciliation, coding, and cleaning procedures.

Senior Clinical Data Coordinator (Sr CDC) - Colombia (Remote) and Mexico (Hybrid)

As a Senior CDC at ICON, you will design and analyse clinical trials, interpreting complex medical data, and contribute to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

What You Will Do:

You will lead on clinical research tasks requiring technical depth, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Create and maintain detailed data management plans and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the identification and resolution of data discrepancies and issues, working to streamline data flow and enhance data quality throughout the study lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations and biostatistics, to develop and execute data management strategies tailored to specific studies.
• Perform other project activities as required in order to ensure that study timelines are met (for example, filing and archiving of study documentation , dispatching of queries to investigator sites for resolution, etc.).
• Mentor junior data coordinators, providing expert guidance on data reconciliation, coding, and cleaning procedures.

Your Profile:

You will have a strong foundation in clinical research, with the experience to work independently and guide others.

Required qualifications and experience:

• 3.5 + years of clinical data management experience in a clinical research organization or pharmaceutical company
• Intermediate knowledge of the drug development process
• Knowledge of at least 1 Clinical Data Management System (Medidata RAVE, InForm, Veeva, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of computerized information systems and standard application software (Windows, MS Office)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education and experience stated above. All employees must read, write, and speak fluent English and host country language.
