Bluelight is seeking a Business Analyst to translate business problems into buildable requirements. You will sit between clients, product teams, and engineers, running discovery, mapping processes, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensuring delivered solutions meet the intended goals.

You will work across client builds and maintenance engagements, helping scope and estimate new projects while coordinating with Product, Design, and QA to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Formación

• 3+ years in business analysis or similar software project role
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile/Scrum
• Proven ability to run discovery sessions and turn input into structured requirements
• Comfort with process mapping and data modeling at a business level
• Hands-on experience with Jira; familiarity with Figma and collaborative docs
• Excellent spoken and written English; comfortable leading client meetings
• Enough technical literacy to talk APIs, integrations, databases, and system constraints

Responsabilidades

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand goals and pain points
• Document current-state and future-state workflows, rules, data definitions, edge cases
• Support new-project sizing by breaking scope into epics and stories
• Identify risks and dependencies and drive resolution
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira
• Partner with Product Manager to prioritize and groom the backlog
• Collaborate with UI/UX in Figma to align flows with requirements
• Answer engineering questions during sprint and keep requirements current
• Work with QA to ensure acceptance criteria translate into tests
• Support sprint demos and coordinate user acceptance testing
• Keep requirements in Google Drive with decisions and rationale
• Capture compliance, security, and audit requirements upfront
• Act as point of contact for clients on scope questions
• Translate between business and technical audiences without jargon
• Surface scope changes early and explain tradeoffs
