Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 to service hospital equipment onsite in Englewood/Denver, CO. The role covers diagnosing, repairing, and performing PMs while maintaining strong customer relations and adherence to GE policies.

The candidate will lead and assist technicians, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure proper documentation and calibration of equipment, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of service experience on medical equipment.
• Equivalent military education with 2+ years of experience servicing electrical or mechanical equipment.
• High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience servicing medical equipment.
• Analytical and communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
• Willingness to be available after hours or on a rotating On-Call schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex customer biomedical equipment issues and implement repairs.
• Perform planned maintenance (PM), safety and environmental inspections, and maintain customer relations.
• Follow GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol, and complete necessary documentation.
• Communicate effectively and partner with teammates and colleagues.
• Lead and assist technicians on repairs and resolutions within assigned area.
• Share on-call/pager responsibility and ensure timely repair actions.
