Connect Tech+Talent is seeking a Senior BI Analyst to evaluate, select, set up and implement the right BI platform based on business and technical needs. You will work hands-on across tool assessment, data modeling, semantic layer design and dashboard development.

You will build interactive dashboards, connect BI tools to data sources, validate outputs and partner with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable BI solutions.

Formación

• 4-6+ years in BI analytics or reporting with hands-on dashboard skills.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling experience.

We are seeking a Senior BI Analyst who can help evaluate, select, set up and implement the right BI platform based on business and technical needs.

You will work hands-on across BI tool assessment, data modeling, semantic layer design, dashboard development, reporting and validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and compare BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar platforms based on business needs, usability, scalability, integration capabilities and cost.
• Support proof-of-concepts and recommend the most suitable BI platform based on defined requirements.
• Perform hands-on setup, configuration and validation of selected BI tools.
• Design and build data models, semantic layers, measures, KPIs and reusable reporting structures.
• Build interactive dashboards, reports and visualizations for business and operational users.
• Connect BI tools to databases, cloud data warehouses, APIs and enterprise data sources; troubleshoot data and performance issues.
• Partner with business stakeholders, data engineers and architects to translate reporting needs into scalable BI solutions.
• Define BI standards and best practices for data modeling, dashboard design, performance, governance and data accuracy.

Required Technical Skills & Competencies

• 4-6+ years of BI, analytics or reporting experience with strong hands-on dashboard and data modeling expertise.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker or comparable enterprise BI platforms.
• Strong SQL skills with experience working with cloud data warehouses and enterprise data sources.
• Experience with semantic modeling, dimensional modeling, KPIs, measures and dashboard development.
• Experience evaluating BI tools and supporting tool selection, setup and implementation.

Good to Have

• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
• Power BI DAX / Power Query or advanced Tableau calculations and modeling.
• Exposure to dbt, modern data transformation tools or cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience conducting BI tool PoCs, comparative assessments, data quality validation and performance tuning.

Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on BI tool experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar platforms.
• Strong SQL, data modeling and dashboard development skills.
• Experience evaluating and selecting BI/reporting tools based on business and technical requirements.
• Ability to work directly with both business and technical stakeholders.
