Kake is a remote-first technology company seeking a Senior Android Engineer to build scalable mobile solutions. You will work with a cross-functional team, owning feature delivery end-to-end and shaping Android architecture using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

The role emphasizes clean, testable code, MVVM/MVI patterns, and modern tooling like CI/CD and AI-assisted development. Excellent English communication and the ability to thrive in a remote, CST-friendly timezone are required.

Formación

• 7+ years in native Android development in production

Responsabilidades

• Translate product and design requirements into actionable technical tasks, owning feature delivery end-to-end through to production deployment.
• Architect, build, and maintain native Android applications in Kotlin with robust testing.
• Design robust network layers, caching strategies, and offline-first workflows.
• Integrate third-party SDKs, hardware capabilities, and RESTful/GraphQL APIs with backend teams.
• Build modern UI interfaces with Jetpack Compose ensuring high performance.
• Participate in design reviews, set Android engineering/testing standards, and leverage AI-assisted development tools.
