Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale AI infrastructure for production pipelines. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work with a global team on real-world AI systems.

You’ll develop production-grade software, write clean code in Python/TypeScript, and collaborate with ML researchers and engineers to deliver reliable data pipelines and APIs at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Java, or similar.
• Experience building backend services, APIs, or data-intensive apps.
• Cloud platforms and containerized environments familiarity (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Version control, CI/CD workflows, and modern tooling familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade software systems for AI training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
• Write clean, tested code in Python, TypeScript, or other modern languages.
• Build and optimize APIs, data pipelines, and backend services at scale.
• Architect solutions balancing speed and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot issues across distributed systems and cloud infra.
• Collaborate asynchronously with ML engineers, researchers, and PMs.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Work independently on well-scoped projects with ownership.
