Une entreprise innovante au service de la technologie recherche un Comptable Senior pour gérer la comptabilité et les audits à travers plusieurs entités dans un environnement hybride. Vous serez responsable de la conformité, des clôtures financières mensuelles et de l'automatisation des processus financiers grâce à l’IA. Ce rôle exige des compétences prouvées en normes comptables et en outils comme NetSuite et Power BI, tout en offrant la possibilité de travailler avec une équipe dynamique au sein d'une entreprise en pleine croissance.

Formación

• 5+ ans d'expérience en comptabilité professionnelle.
• Commandement des normes IFRS et US GAAP.
• Expérience en automatisation avec des outils d'IA.

As our new Senior Accountant you will own day-to-day accounting, monthly close, multi-country consolidations, and external audits—while spearheading process automation and the first wave of AI in Finance at Platzi. What you'll do

• Lead full-cycle Colombian accounting and oversee bookkeeping for Mexico and the US in collaboration with local advisors.
• Manage monthly closings in under 7 business days and deliver management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), while overseeing the entire fixed asset lifecycle (capitalization, depreciation, disposals, reconciliations).
• Handle multi-GAAP consolidation in NetSuite (preferred) or SAP, mapping ledgers to US GAAP and maintaining the group chart of accounts.
• Act as the main point of contact for Big 4 auditors and coordinate statutory filings in CO/MX/US to ensure IFRS and US GAAP compliance.
• Design and improve workflows to automate finance operations using AI tools and SQL queries, powering insights through tools like Power BI.
• Implement SOX-style controls for a SaaS business and reconcile revenue streams (e.g., Stripe, MercadoPago, app stores) with the general ledger.
• Partner with FP&A and Tax teams to ensure clean, accurate data for strategic and compliance needs.

Who you are

• 5+ years of experience as a Professional Accountant (CPA/Contador Público).
• Strong command of Colombian accounting standards and working knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience in NetSuite (preferred) or SAP, including configuration, saved searches, and multi-currency consolidations.
• Proven track record supporting Big 4 audits, including successful PBC list management.
• Comfortable with SQL for data validation and ad-hoc analysis.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Fluent in Spanish and strong business English (B2+), able to work with US-based teams.
• Based in Bogotá and open to a hybrid work model (2–3 days/week on-site).

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS, Ed-Tech, or subscription-based business models.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 and local tax implications (Colombia/Mexico).
• Exposure to automation tools (RPA or Python) for finance processes.
• Involvement in ERP migrations or NetSuite module implementations.
