BairesDev is hiring for a Semi Senior Testing role. You will design and execute test plans, lead defect tracking, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality. The position offers 100% remote work and opportunities to mentor juniors and improve QA processes.

You will work with APIs, databases, and automated testing tools while communicating in English with a global Top 1% tech talent network. Competitive USD-based compensation is offered.

Formación

• 3+ years of testing experience.
• Proven experience with APIs and Web Services.
• Experience with database technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Basic IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience designing and implementing software modules.
• Proficient in writing and implementing unit tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex software applications.
• Lead bug tracking and bug reporting, ensuring detailed documentation and follow-up.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand business requirements and ensure that the application meets quality standards.
• Mentor junior testers, guiding them in best practices in manual testing and career development.
• Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes, introducing improvements and best practices.
• Participate in the integration of automated testing tools and methodologies to complement manual testing efforts.
