Café Quindío S.A.S. is seeking an experienced SDET/ Test Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks as part of modernizing enterprise applications from .NET 6 to .NET 10.

You will collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and the Tech Lead to ensure scalable test coverage and reliable releases. The role includes executing automated tests for web apps, APIs, and services, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and participating in manual testing when

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in SDET, test automation, or QA engineering roles.
• Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.
• Experience testing web applications built with .NET, React, and TypeScript technologies.
• Experience validating REST APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience working with Git-based repositories, Jira, and Agile development teams.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and quality assurance best practices.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable automated test coverage.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for modernized applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Participate in manual testing to achieve full coverage of modernized applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects and quality issues.
• Validate application upgrades and compatibility changes introduced during modernization.
• Execute test automation against web applications, APIs, and supporting services.
• Analyze test results, provide quality metrics, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Promote test automation best practices and continuous quality improvement across squads.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including (automated) test plans, test cases, and defect tracking.
