Praxis USA is seeking a SASE Professional Services Consultant for Medellín, Colombia. You will design, deploy, migrate, and optimize Palo Alto Networks SASE solutions for enterprise customers.

The role requires hands-on Prisma Access, Prisma SD‑WAN, GlobalProtect, and Zero Trust expertise, plus strong networking fundamentals and customer‑facing skills.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in Network Security, Professional Services, or related fields.
• 2–3 years hands‑on with SASE and cloud‑delivered security tech.
• Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks security solutions.
• Hands‑on with Prisma Access is highly preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency required for global interaction.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise SASE architectures.
• Deploy and configure Prisma Access components such as GlobalProtect and Remote Networks.
• Lead migrations from VPN, proxy, and on‑prem to cloud‑delivered SASE.
• Configure IPSec, GRE tunnels and advanced NGFW capabilities.
• Work with routing (BGP, OSPF) and PBF for policy control.
• Integrate SASE with IdPs (Azure AD, Okta, SAML 2.0).
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across networking, security, and cloud connectivity.
• Deliver workshops, training, and knowledge transfer to customers.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SASE Professional Services Consultant to join our team in Medellín, Colombia. This role is focused on supporting enterprise customers through the design, deployment, migration, and optimization of Palo Alto Networks SASE solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, GlobalProtect, cloud-delivered security architectures, networking, and Zero Trust frameworks, combined with excellent customer-façing, consulting, and troubleshooting skills.

You will collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver complex security transformation projects and ensure the successful adoption of Palo Alto Networks SASE technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise SASE architectures.
• Deploy and configure Prisma Access components, including:
• GlobalProtect / Mobile Users
• Remote Networks
• Service Connections
• Security Policies
• Traffic Steering
• Implement and optimize Prisma SD‑WAN environments.
• Lead migrations from traditional VPN, proxy, and on-premises security infrastructures to cloud-delivered SASE architectures.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IPSec and GRE tunnels.
• Work with advanced routing technologies, including:
• BGP
• OSPF
• Policy-Based Forwarding (PBF)
• Configure security policies and advanced NGFW capabilities, including:
• URL Filtering
• SSL/TLS Inspection
• Threat Prevention
• Integrate SASE solutions with enterprise Identity Providers (IdPs) such as:
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Okta
• Other SAML‑compatible platforms
• Implement and support authentication technologies:
• SAML 2.0
• RADIUS
• MFA
• Perform advanced troubleshooting involving networking, security, routing, authentication, and cloud connectivity.
• Conduct technical workshops, customer training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Develop implementation plans, deployment guides, technical documentation, and best practices.
• Collaborate with TAC, Sales, Customer Success, Project Management, and Professional Services teams.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and critical production cutovers when required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Security, Professional Services, Technical Consulting, Network Engineering, or Solutions Architecture.
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with SASE and cloud-delivered security technologies.
• Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks security solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with Prisma Access (highly preferred).
• Experience with Prisma SD‑WAN.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including:
• TCP/IP
• DNS
• Routing
• BGP
• OSPF
• IPSec
• GRE
• Policy-Based Forwarding (PBF)
• Experience with GlobalProtect deployments and administration.
• Proven experience leading enterprise VPN and proxy migration projects.
• Solid understanding of Zero Trust and SASE architectures.
• Experience with identity and authentication technologies:
• SAML 2.0
• RADIUS
• MFA
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Okta
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS inspection and certificate management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers in customer‑facing environments.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) required for interaction with global customers and international teams.
