Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer to run a one-person DevOps function for a multi-tenant SaaS platform in insurance and financial services.

You will support ~18 .NET microservices and an Angular SSR UI on Microsoft Azure across dev/demo/UAT/prod in primary and DR regions while enabling 30+ developers across five teams. Responsibilities include administering Azure services, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and implementing IaC with ARM templates and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps experience supporting production SaaS platforms.
• Expert-level knowledge of Azure services including App Services, Application Gateway, WAF, and Azure Firewall.
• Hands-on experience with AKS and self-hosted build agents.
• Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates and PowerShell.
• Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and GitHub repository management, rulesets and branch policies.
• Proficiency in incident analysis using Kusto and Kudu diagnostics.
• Experience with security/compliance tools such as Wiz, Invicti DAST, and SailPoint.

Responsibilities

• Administer Azure services (App Services, Gateway, WAF, Firewall).
• Maintain AKS-hosted, self-hosted build agents for CI/CD reliability.
• Develop and sustain ARM templates and PowerShell-based IaC.
• Manage Azure DevOps pipelines and GitHub repos, rulesets, branch policies.
• Analyze production incidents using Kusto and Kudu diagnostics.
• Coordinate security and compliance tooling and vendor escalations.
