Sezzle is seeking a Risk & Disputes Intern in Bogotá, Colombia. This paid internship offers a fast-paced environment where you’ll analyze disputes and collaborate with fraud and disputes teams to resolve cases. You’ll gain domain knowledge in fraud prevention while meeting strict SLAs and using AI tools like Claude to boost productivity.

You will handle card, ACH, and merchant disputes, investigate patterns, and contribute to scalable processes across departments.

• Experience in analyzing data and making impactful decisions in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong business judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision after training.

Responsabilités

• Investigate disputed card, debit, and ACH transactions and take suitable action within timeframes.
• Work cross-functionally with fraud and disputes teams to determine next steps case by case.
• Investigate transactions using internal policies to identify patterns or trends.
• Understand systems and tools; analyze account patterns through data.
• Collaborate with analysts, operations, data scientists and engineering to improve loss prevention mechanisms.
• Learn and maintain domain knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and technologies.
• Maintain or exceed SLAs for timely resolution of queued cases to minimize losses.
• Handle escalations from internal and external stakeholders professionally.
• Demonstrate experience with Claude or equivalent LLM tools to enhance productivity and research.
