RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring for a Residential Unit Clerk to provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care in residential homes and vocational centers. The role serves individuals with intellectual, developmental, mental health, and substance use challenges.

The position pays $15.75/hour and includes benefits for full-time staff. A CNA is preferred; high school diploma or GED is required, with pre-employment screenings and driving requirements if applicable.

• Driver's license, insurance, and vehicle if driving is required.

Responsabilidades

• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse immediately.
• Report accidents and incidents to the Nurse immediately.
• Report injuries of unknown source.
• Report defective equipment to the Nurse.
• Report grievances and complaints by residents to the Nurse.
• Report allegations of resident abuse or misappropriation of property.
• Weigh and measure residents as instructed.
• Record temperatures, BP, pulse and respirations (TPR) as instructed.
• Assist residents with dressing/undressing.
• Assist with nail care (excluding diabetic residents).
• Assist with bowel/bladder functions and toileting per care plan.
• Administer medications and feedings via gastrostomy tube per physicians' orders.
• Monitor oxygen and report to nurses.
• Perform colostomy care.
• Assist with lifting/moving/positioning/transport to/from beds, chairs, etc.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities as needed.

We are hiring for: Residential Unit Clerk. Type: Regular. This position provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care and services to persons with disabilities in residential homes and/or vocational centers for a single location of the business.

We are looking for a positive, personable individual to make a real difference in the lives of people with intellectual, developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges.

Payrate: $15.75/hour.

Responsibilities

• Reporting all changes in the people supported’s condition to the Nurse immediately.
• Reporting all accidents and incidents observed to the Nurse immediately.
• Reporting injuries of an unknown source, including skin tears and bruises.
• Reporting defective equipment to the Nurse.
• Reporting all grievances and complaints made by the resident to the Nurse.
• Reporting all allegations of resident abuse and/or misappropriate use of people supported property.
• Weighing and measuring people supported as instructed.
• Measuring and recording temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respirations (TPRs), as instructed.
• Assisting people supported with dressing/undressing as necessary.
• Assisting people supported with nail care (i.e., clipping, trimming and cleaning the finger/toe nails). (Note: Does not include diabetic residents).
• Assisting people supported with bowel and bladder functions (i.e., takes to bathroom, offers bedpan/urinal, portable commode, etc.) and maintains toileting program as identified in the care plan.
• Administering medications and feedings via a gastrostomy tube per physicians orders and as delegated by the licensed nurses.
• Monitoring oxygen administration and report findings to licensed nurses.
• Performing colostomy care.
• Assisting with lifting, turning, moving, positioning and transporting people supported into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Assisting in transporting people supported to/from appointments, activity and social programs and for out of center appointments, etc., as necessary.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of this state preferred #INDNC.
• Pre-employment screening: Complete criminal background check in the registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities), drug testing, education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements, proof of employment history or references (if required).
• Positions that require driving: Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, if required for providing transportation for individuals.
