Job summary

Equinix, Inc. in Bogotá is seeking a data analytics professional to support data exploration, audits and reporting.

You will work with cross-functional teams to turn data into actionable insights and clear visuals for clients and internal stakeholders. You will develop basic dashboards, automate recurring reports, train new joiners on analytics tools, and help maintain data quality across platforms using Excel, Power BI, SQL and Python.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting are strongly preferred.
• Experience with Power BI and dashboard development is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Smartsheet is a strong plus.
• Ability to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Strong PowerPoint, presentation, and data storytelling skills.
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL is preferred.

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the team with data exploration, data audits, and reporting

Responsibilities

Data Exploration

• Explores data within one to two files to determine trends and relationships between variables

Ad Hoc Reporting

• Creates basic ad hoc report requests, using insights from data exploration to prepare basic visualizations and PowerPoint reports for clients requesting the data

Client Management

• Reaches out to client to clarify requests and debriefs with client to explain data insights and confirm report

Analytics Coaching

• Requests accounts for new joiners and trains them on analytics tools

Data Audit and Cleansing

• Contributes to periodic audits of data within business systems/platforms
• Performs follow-up checks to ensure data quality and accuracy

Scheduled Reports

• Downloads required data and creates pre-defined reports as per defined schedule
• Delivers reports to stakeholder group and answers questions pertaining to the report

Customer Care (For employees working in Customer Care and Experience)

• Supports accounts with low to moderate complexity
