ScotiaTech, part of Scotia GBS/GSG Colombia, seeks a Report Engineer to support SQL/PowerBI, data ingestion, and analytics for Caribbean regions. The role focuses on building robust data pipelines, dashboards, and troubleshooting ingestion processes.

You will collaborate in an agile team and engage with cross-functional stakeholders to deepen client relationships and improve data-driven decisions.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience with SQL and PowerBI.
• Excellent communication in English and Spanish (B2-C1).

Responsabilidades

• Act as a member of an agile team and drive consistent development practices.
• Perform hands-on design and development with SQL/CSV and data formats (Parquet, Avro).
• Provide support for PowerBI reports and dashboards across Caribbean teams.
• Support ingestion design, documentation, coding, testing and troubleshooting for Caribbean region.

What will you do as a Report Engineer?

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

• Functions as a member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development practices, tools usage, common components, and patterns.
• Performs hands‑on design and development with SQL/CSV and other file formats (Parquet, Avro, etc.) processing, using appropriate data ingestion patterns, data modelling techniques and scheduling / orchestration.
• Provides support for PowerBI reports and dashboards across all Caribbean teams/departments.
• Supports design, documentation, coding, testing, debugging and troubleshooting technical issues to support EDL ingestions for Caribbean region.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

What do we expect from you?

• To have +2 years of experience with SQL and PowerBI.
• To have great communication abilities, both in English and Spanish (B2-C1 Level)
