Job summary

HireHawk Inc. is seeking a full-time contractor editor to own post-production for a founder-led personal-brand content business. You'll turn ~20-minute conversations into polished short-form videos for Instagram and Facebook, guided by the founder’s messaging.

Work Monday to Friday on Central Time, with no creative team, moving work proactively and growing independence as you learn preferences. Expect 3–4 videos per day across 4-6 clients, with attention to voice, pacing, and clarity.

Qualifications

• Portfolio including Instagram Reels and talking-head content.
• 3–5 years of professional video editing experience with social content.
• Proficiency in CapCut with captions, pacing, framing, and finishing.

Responsibilities

• Turn 20-minute conversations into focused short-form videos with strong hooks.
• Identify strongest moments using messaging guidance to build a narrative.
• Preserve client voice and meaning while removing repetition.
• Add captions, framing, B-roll, punch-ins when they enhance clarity.
• Deliver platform-ready videos with clean audio and subtitles.
• Manage 4–6 clients and produce ~3–4 videos per day.
• Adapt editing style per client and brand.
• Take initiative, flag messaging risks, and apply feedback quickly.
