Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Manager, Multifamily to own search for a book of multifamily clients. You will lead the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking story, acting as the strategic voice at the table.

You will manage technical SEO, keyword strategy, AI-assisted drafting with writers, and reporting in GA4 and Search Console. Fluency in English with US clients on live calls is essential, and remote collaboration across regions is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO required.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for multifamily or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
