Bluelight is seeking a senior backend-focused software engineer to join a growing team in a fast-paced environment. You will design and implement scalable, low-latency RESTful APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS, while contributing across the stack and owning deliverables.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of professional experience, strong PostgreSQL/AuroraDB skills with RLS, and a track record delivering high-quality software in complex systems.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs and SDK integrations.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience with secure, multi-tenant environments and raw SQL including migrations.
• Proficient in React and full-stack collaboration.
• Solid testing practices including integration tests against real databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and containerized deployments on AWS (Fargate/ECS).
• Excellent problem-solving, accountability, and client-focused work ethic.
