Job summary

Coforge is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services, Terraform, and Ansible. You will automate deployments, manage Docker containers, and oversee CI/CD pipelines while ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.

The role requires 5–7 years of DevOps experience, strong Linux and networking skills, and a degree in CS/IT or related field. The position is remote with Colombia-based work options and collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Strong experience with AWS services, including IAM and AWS CLI.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Solid understanding of Docker and containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with Ubuntu Linux administration and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving, independent working, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate configuration management and deployments with Ansible.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Docker Swarm, and implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development teams to improve workflows and deployment processes.
