VargasAndrews seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to lead teams and work directly with U.S.-based clients from a remote LATAM base. The role focuses on improving accounting processes, coordinating deliverables, and driving automation with AI tools.

Responsibilities include overseeing the full accounting cycle, client engagement, mentoring staff, and implementing SOPs to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Fluency in English and proactive communication are essential.

Formación

• 5–7 years as a Senior Accountant or in a similar leadership role.
• Experience delivering for U.S.-based clients is mandatory.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Excellent spoken and written English; strong client relationships.
• Leadership, mentoring and review skills with accountability for quality and delivery.
• Experience with AI-driven tools or automation is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate the full accounting cycle across multiple client accounts.
• Act as primary client point of contact and manage team task distribution.
• Review work of junior staff; onboard new hires and support recruitment.
• Design and implement accounting SOPs; drive automation and AI adoption.
