Outlier is seeking a QA Coder to review AI-generated code, flag errors, and rate model responses to improve code generation. You will also help write clear computer science prompts that challenge AI models.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, have production code experience, communicate fluently in English, and pay close attention to detail. This is a 1099 contract, remote from LATAM, with pay up to $34 USD/hr plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase for a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions — accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write clear, well-structured prompts that challenge AI models and push coding ability.
