Archie Labs is seeking a Technical QA Automation Engineer to work remotely with LATAM candidates. You will design and automate test strategies for web apps and APIs, validate service integrations, and drive quality across sprints.

Strong expertise in Playwright/Cypress/Selenium and JS/TS is required, plus solid API and SQL skills and CI/CD experience. You’ll join a global team, collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA peers, and contribute to improving testing processes while enjoying

Formación

• 5 years of QA experience, combining manual testing and test automation.
• Experience automating tests for web apps/APIs using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid testing fundamentals: functional/non-functional testing, black-box/white-box, equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, and clear, maintainable test case design.
• API testing with Postman/Insomnia and understanding of HTTP/REST, response codes, headers, and authentication.
• Basic to intermediate SQL for data validation; experience with Jira, TestRail, Zephyr and Git.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and ability to troubleshoot using browser dev tools, logs, and monitoring.
• Strong communication skills to convey findings, risks, and quality issues, working both independently and cross-functionally.
• Nice to Have: Performance testing (k6, JMeter), security testing, databases, Docker, microservices, AI tools for QA.

Responsabilidades

• Design, document, and execute test cases (functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, smoke).
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for web apps and APIs.
• Validate APIs/services and analyze logs to identify root causes.
• Identify, report, and track defects using Jira; validate fixes with regression testing.
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and monitor flaky tests.
• Collaborate with developers, PO, and QA in sprints; review requirements for quality.
• Maintain test environments and data; propose process/tooling improvements.
