Canonical is a leading provider of open source software. This role focuses on building robust container images and automating CI/CD workflows in a globally distributed team. You will contribute to Python- and Go-based tooling, work with Docker/Kubernetes, and participate in architectural reviews.

You will collaborate across teams, mentor colleagues, and engage with the open-source community while maintaining high standards for security and reliability. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Formación

• Experience building container images and working with CI/CD systems.
• Familiarity with GitOps principles and workflows.
• Strong Python experience and Linux systems administration.

Responsabilidades

• Build robust, scalable, leading-edge container images.
• Work on automated CI/CD processes for building, testing and publishing container images.
• Write tools and tests for assessing security compliance and cloud-native compatibility.
• Participate in code and architectural review to improve processes.
• Contribute to Python- and Go-based container-building tooling and documentation.
• Engage with the open-source community as a subject-matter expert.
