Canonical is seeking a software engineer to join Landscape and build a scalable management solution for Ubuntu in the enterprise. You will contribute to distributed development, implement public-facing APIs, and work with Python frameworks to deliver features across on-prem and cloud deployments.

You will collaborate with a global team, participate in code reviews, and help maintain high-quality code with automated tests.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM or equivalent.
• Experience developing public-facing APIs and web applications using Python.
• Proficiency with web frameworks such as Flask or Django and PostgreSQL.
• Comfort working on Ubuntu as a development/deployment platform.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate proactively with a distributed team to deliver features.
• Write high-quality code and modernise the Landscape codebase.
• Demonstrate commitment to testing and automation.
• Participate in code and architectural reviews and release management.
