BairesDev, a global technology company, is seeking a Cloud Engineer specialized in OpenStack and Python to build and maintain robust, open-source cloud infrastructure. You will design, deploy, and manage scalable OpenStack clusters and automate infrastructure tasks with Python, enabling highly available systems.
You will work remotely with a diverse team, collaborating to set cloud standards, optimize storage and virtualization, and support migrations.
Formación
- 4+ years of experience in Cloud/Infrastructure engineering.
- OpenStack cloud design, deployment and maintenance experience.
- Advanced Python for automation and scripting.
- Strong Linux systems knowledge and Ceph storage management.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Responsabilidades
- Design, deploy, and administer production-grade OpenStack clusters and core components.
- Develop Python-based automation scripts and tools for infrastructure management and orchestration.
- Optimize and manage distributed storage solutions and virtualization layers for peak performance.
- Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of VMs, networking, and bare-metal workloads.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-healing processes for reliability and security.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define cloud standards and support migrations to OpenStack.
