1840 & Company is seeking an International Purchasing Coordinator to work remotely in Colombia. The role will establish vendor relationships, maintain purchase order records, and ensure supply basis aligns with our cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, marketing, sales and quality.

You will monitor orders, coordinate inbound logistics, and report to the Supply Chain Manager. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years in consumer products

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5-year experience in consumer products in international purchasing.
• Experience handling international shipments via ocean and air freight.
• Proven cost savings leadership in consumer-packaged goods.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced matrix environment.

Responsabilidades

• Establish positive relationships with vendors and maintain PO records.
• Identify and engage with engineering, operations, marketing, sales and quality teams to understand commodity requirements.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support procurement.
• Create purchasing orders and procure goods within approved budgets.
• Manage invoices, quotes, vendor contracts, and update records.
• Track orders and report delivery issues; expediting orders as needed.
• Coordinate inbound logistics, including duties and delivery.
• Prepare monthly and annual purchase reports for management review.
