Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, GIS, or Geospatial development.
• Proven expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines for satellite imagery, GPS, and spatial datasets.
• Proficiency in working with spatial databases and storage formats, specifically PostGIS and GeoParquet.
• Hands-on experience with spatial ETL processes and specialized geospatial tools.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and manage automated ETL pipelines for large-scale geospatial datasets and satellite imagery.
• Develop and optimize spatial queries and indexing strategies using PostGIS to ensure high-performance data retrieval.
• Build robust data ingestion workflows for specialized formats like GeoParquet and spatial datasets.
• Clean, validate, and standardize diverse geospatial data sources to ensure accuracy and coordinate system consistency.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support spatial modeling, visualization, and remote sensing requirements.
• Automate repetitive spatial data processing tasks using Python scripting and modern orchestration tools.
