BairesDev is seeking a GCP Data Engineer to lead scalable data systems on Google Cloud Platform. You will own the data lifecycle, pipelines, and analytics to ensure reliable data for strategic decision-making.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements, optimize BigQuery workloads, and implement governance. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cloud Data Management.
• Proven expertise in leading scalable data systems on Google Cloud Platform.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing and pipelines.
• Deep understanding of GCP services, BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
• Hands-on experience overseeing complex data pipelines and analytics.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from diverse sources using Python and GCP services.
• Leverage BigQuery to build analytics warehouses and support large-scale querying for insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and implement end-to-end data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and security with governance and monitoring practices.
• Evaluate and integrate new GCP services to improve performance and cost-efficiency.
