Remote Design Systems Engineer: Figma Tokens & Components

Blacksmith Agency LLC; Medellín; Presencial; COP 293.112.000 - 390.816.000; Jornada completa

Descripción de la vacante

Blacksmith Agency in Medellín is seeking a Design Systems Engineer to own how client design systems are built. You extract patterns from brands and reference sites into tokens, variables, modes, and core components that a build pipeline can execute with precision.

You will manage token architecture in Figma, ship scalable component libraries, and document the system so developers or pipelines can run it without questions, even while collaborating across multiple client brands.

Formación

• 4+ years designing for the web with real design system work in your portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, component properties, auto layout, and variants. Architecture, not just tidy files.
• A portfolio where client work looks different but the underlying rigor is the same.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Build token architecture in Figma using variables, modes, and semantic naming our pipeline can read predictably.
• Ship core component libraries that hold up across an entire site, not just a homepage.
• Document the system so a developer or an automated pipeline can execute it without questions.
• Work across several client brands at once, each looking distinctly different, with the same structural rigor.
